Here is your answer :

Sum of two numbers = 90

Let the smaller number be x.

Then, greater number = = (90-x)

It is given that, greater number exceeds thrice the smaller by 14.

A/q,

➡3(x) + 14 = 90 - x

➡3x + x = 90 - 14

4x = 76

➡x=76/4

x = 19.

Answer :

➡Smaller number = x = 19

Greater number = (90-x) = (90-19)=71
