biggest number=40+10/2

=50/2=25

smallest number=25-10=15

Let one number be x

Other number = y

According to 1st Condition :

x + y = 40 ---------(i)

According to 2nd Condition :

x - y = 10 ---------- (ii)

Adding equation (i) and ( ii) we get

x + y = 40

x - y = 10

2x = 50

x = 50 / 2

x = 25

Putting the value of X in equation (i)

x + y = 40

25 + y = 40

y = 40 - 25

y = 15

Therefore, the two s numbers are 25 and 15 .
