The sum of two numbersmbers is 25
=>lets form an euqation
=>x +x+9 = 25
=>2x +9 = 25
=>2x =25-9
=>2x = 16
=>x = 16/2
=>x = 8
other number = x+9
=>8+9
=>17
so the 2 numbers are 8 and 17
