Question ⏬

The sum of two opposite angle of a parallelogram is 130 degree. Find the mesare of each of angle.

Answer ⏬

We know that opposite angles of a Parallelogram are equal. So,

  • angle A << angle C
  • angle B << angle D

In parallelogram ABCD,

Let angle A + angle C << 130°

But we also know that angle A << angle C

So,

angle A + angle C << 130°

= angle A + angle A << 130°

= 2 x angle A << 130°

= angle A << 130°/2

= angle A << 65°

  • angle A << 65°
  • angle B << 180° - angle A

(Sum of adjacent angles of a parallelogram << 180°)

angle B << 180° - 65°

angle B << 115°

  • angle C << angle A

(Opposite angles of a parallelogram are Equal)

angle C << 65°

  • angle D << angle B

(Opposite angles of a parallelogram are Equal)

angle D << 115°
