Let be second prime no.=
x+x=999
2x=999
x=999/2
x=499.5
499.5×499.5
=249,500.25

Sum = 999

We know that,

The sum will given an odd number when at least one number is even

In prime numbers , only 2 is an even prime

Thus,

2 + x = 999

x = 999 - 2

x = 997

997 is also a prime number

Thus two numbers are : 2 and 997

what is their product

2 \times 997 = 1994

Thus the product is 1994
