Q1)The sum of two rational numbers is 1/2 .If one of the number is -8/19 ,Find the other,,

 \:  \underline{ \boxed{ \sf{answer \to}}}

 \:  \:  \bullet \large \sf{ x + y =  \frac{1}{2} }....given \: condition

 \:     \\ \implies \bf{y =  \frac{ - 8}{19}.....  \: given \: number}

 \:   \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{x + y =  \frac{1}{2} }

 \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{x +  \frac{ - 8}{19}  =  \frac{1}{2} }

 \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{19x - 8 =  \frac{19}{2} }

 \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{39x - 16 = 19}

 \:  \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{39x - 16 - 19 = 0}

 \:  \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{39x  = 35}

 \:  \:  \implies \displaystyle \rm{x =  \frac{35}{39} }
