HEY! UR ANSWER IS:

Let the other number be, x

\frac{-1}{6} + x = \frac{2}{3}

x= \frac{2}{3} + \frac{1}{6}    {LCM= 6}    

=\frac{2*2}{3*2}= 4/6

x=4/6+1/6

x=5/6

The other number = \frac{5}{6}

To verify,

\frac{5}{6} - \frac{1}{6} = \frac{4}{6} which can be simplified into \frac{2}{3}.
