The sum of two rational number is-5,if one of the number is -13/6.find the other????

let the another number be x.

So,

x + ( -5 ) = -13/6

x = 5 - 13/6

x = 30 - 13 / 6

x = 17/6

Hence, the other number is 17/6.

-5 + X=-13/6
X. =-13/6+5
=-13/6+30/6
=17/6
