Let the one number =x and the other one is -4

As per question,

x+(-4)=-7/4

=> x-4=-7/4

=> x= -7/4+4

=>x= (-7+16)/4

=>x= 9/4

Varification

9/4+(-4)

=(9-16)/4

=-7/4
