The sum of two rational number is -7 and one of them is -5/2

Sum = -7

One of the Rational number is - 5 / 2

Let second number be x

So

-5 / 2 + x = -7
x = -7 + 5 / 2

L.C.M = 2

x = - 7 * 2 / 2 + 5 / 2

x = -14 + 5 / 2

x = -9 / 2

So second number = -9 / 2
