Let other number be x,

Their sum = -8

 -  \frac{13}{7}  + x =  - 8 \\  \\ x =  - 8 +  \frac{13}{7}  \\  \\ x =  \frac{ - 56 + 13}{7}  \\  \\ x =  -  \frac{43}{7}

Other number is -43/7

I hope this will help you
