-12/5- -2/1

=-12/5+10/5

=-2/5

We will take two variables for the two rational numbers one will be X and one will be Y. Now give the value -12/5 to X and keep Y as a variable. Solve the equation by transposition method and the answer will be 2/5 which is Y I.e, the second no.

So the two numbers are = -12/5 and 2/5
