The sum of two rational numbers is -1/2 . If one of the numbers is 5/6, find the other.

= LCM OF 6 AND 2 IS 6

SO, 5/6 = 5/6

-1/2 = -3/6

= -2/6

IF WE REDUCE -2/6

= -1/3

THE OTHER RATIONAL NUMBER IS -1/3
