the sum of two rational numbers is 3/2. if one of them -3/10,find the other

let the other  number be x

=>The sum of two rational numbers is 3/2.

=> one of them -3/10

lets form an euqation

=> -3/10 +x = 3/2

=>x = 3/2 +3/10

=>x = 15/10 +3/10

=>x = 18/10

=>x = 9/5

the other mumbber is 9/ 5

Sum = 3/2
ATQ
x + (-3/10)= 3/2
x = 3/2 + 3/10
LCM = 10
x = 15/10 + 3 /10
x = 18/10
x= 9/5

Check
9/5 + (-3/10) = 3/2
18/10 - 3/10 = 3/2
15/10= 3/2
3/2= 3/2
