➤ Answer :-

{ \tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 11)}{6}  +  \sf(x) \tt =  - 3}

To find the value of 'x' in the following sum we should subtract the answer and the first value...

{ \sf \longrightarrow (x) \tt = ( - 3 )-  \dfrac{( - 11)}{6} }

 {\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( - 3)}{1}  -  \dfrac{( - 11)}{6} }

Convert them into like fractions by taking the LCM of the denominators i.e, 1 and 6.

LCM of 1 and 6 is 6.

 {\tt \longrightarrow \dfrac{( -3) \times 6}{1 \times 6}  -  \dfrac{( - 11)}{6} }

 {\tt \longrightarrow  \dfrac{( - 18)}{6}  -  \dfrac{( - 11)}{6}  =  \dfrac{( - 18) - ( - 11)}{6} }

{ \tt \longrightarrow  \dfrac{( - 18) + 11}{6}  =  \dfrac{7}{6} }

{ \tt \longrightarrow  \dfrac{7}{6}  = 1 \dfrac{1}{6} }

\Huge\thereforeThe other number is \tt 1 \dfrac{1}{6}
