Solutions :-
Given :
Sum of two rational numbers = -5/12
One number = -8/21
Let the other number be x
A/q
=> x + -8/21 = -5/12
=> x = -5/12 + 8/21
=> x = (-35 + 32)/84
=> x = -3/84 = -1/28
Hence,
The other rational number = -1/28
