∵ The sum of two rational numbers = - 6

∵ The sum of two rational numbers = - 6And, one of the numbers = -8/5

∵ The sum of two rational numbers = - 6And, one of the numbers = -8/5∴ The other rational number

∵ The sum of two rational numbers = - 6And, one of the numbers = -8/5∴ The other rational number= (-6/1) – (-8/5)

∵ The sum of two rational numbers = - 6And, one of the numbers = -8/5∴ The other rational number= (-6/1) – (-8/5)= (-6 × 5)/(1 × 5) + (8 × 1)/(5 × 1)

∵ The sum of two rational numbers = - 6And, one of the numbers = -8/5∴ The other rational number= (-6/1) – (-8/5)= (-6 × 5)/(1 × 5) + (8 × 1)/(5 × 1)= (-30 + 8)/5 = -22/5
