The sum of two rational numbers is -6. If one of the numbers is -15/7 find the other.

let the unknown number be X

according to the problem ,

X+(-15/7)=-6
x-15/7=-6
X=(-6)+(15/7)
X=-27/7..

therefore the unknown number is -27/7
