Sum of two numbers = \frac{-3}{8}

One number = \frac{3}{16}

Let the number ‘x’ \frac{3}{16}+x=\frac{-3}{8}

x=\frac{-3}{8}-\frac{3}{16}

LCM of 8 and 16 is 16.

x=\ \frac{-3\times2-3}{16}=\frac{-6-3}{16}=\frac{-9}{16}
