The sum of two vertically opposite angles is 156 degrees . Find each of the angles.

Let x be one of the angles
We know vertically opposite angles are equal
So x + x =156 i.e. 2x = 156
So x = 156/2 = 78 degrees
Each of the angles measure 78 degrees
