Let the two consecutive multiple of 3 be 3x and 3x+3 respectively
According to the question
3x+3x+3=429
6x=429-3
6x=426
x=426/6
x=71
First number = 3x= 3×71=213
Second number =3x+3=213+3=216
Therefore, two consecutive multiple of 3 are 213 and 216
