LET THE NUMBER BE X

SECOND NUMER WILL BE X+1 BECAUSE THEY ARE CONSECUTIVE NUMBERS

SO X+X+1=65                    (SUM OF THE NUMBERS IS 65)

2X+1=65

2X=64

X=32

THEREFORE THE NUMBERS ARE 32 AND 33

HOPE IT HELPS:-)

Let two consecutive numbers be 'x' and 'x + 1'.

\boxed{ \blue{ \:  \rm :  \implies \:According  \: to  \: statement}}

Sum of two consecutive numbers is 65.

 \rm :  \implies \:x \:  +  \: x \:  +  \: 1 \:  =  \: 65

 \rm :  \implies \:2x \:  +  \: 1 \:  =  \: 65

{ \:  \rm :  \implies \:2x \:  =  \: 65 \:  -  \: 1}

 \rm :  \implies \:2x \:  =  \: 64

\boxed{ \pink{ \:  \rm :  \implies \:x \:  =  \: 32}}

 \boxed{ \purple{\begin{gathered}\begin{gathered}\bf \: Hence,  \: numbers \: are \:  \begin{cases} &\sf{x \:  = 32} \\ &\sf{x + 1 = 32 + 1 = 33} \end{cases}\end{gathered}\end{gathered}}}
