Given :-

Sum of quadratic polynomial = 3

Product of quadratic polynomial = -10

To Find :-

Quadratic polynomial is

Solution :-

We know that

Standard form of quadratic polynomial = x² - (α + β)x + αβ

Sum of zeroes = α + β

Sum = 3 (i)

Product of zeroes = αβ

Product = -10 (ii)

Quadratic polynomial = x² - (3)x + (-10)

Quadratic polynomial = x² - 3x - 10

Now we have to,

Write the quadratic polynomial.

Given that,

Sum of the zeroes,

→ α + β

→ 3 --- (1)

Product of the zeroes,

→ αβ

→ -10 --- (2)

Then from (1) and (2),

we can write the quadratic polynomial,

→ x² - (α + β)x + αβ

→ x² - (3)x + (-10)

→ x² - 3x - 10

Thus, this is the quadratic polynomial.
