The Corner Shop is a story with an element of mystery in it. When a man named Peter Woods visits this antique shop full of trinkets for the first time, he is greeted with a cheerful ambience by two young women. Woods picks up the figurine of a jade frog, makes the payment and leaves.

Soon after, he realizes that the frog is worth more than what he paid. The honest Peter Woods decides to go and make the balance payment. However, he finds himself surrounded by a gloomy atmosphere and a serious old man in place of the two women. When the women see him, they come forward and tell him an incredible tale that highlights mistakes committed in the past and the old man’s wish to make amends for them.
