Iago says he hates Othello, who recently passed him over for the position of lieutenant in favor of the inexperienced soldier Michael Cassio. Unseen, Iago and Roderigo cry out to Brabanzio that his daughter Desdemona has been stolen by and married to Othello, the Moor.

Answer:

Othello is a play written by William Shakespeare which revolves around the story of Othello, incharge of an island, who suspects his wife Desdemona of having an affair with Cassio, a young officer of his. His another officer Iago misuses Othello's trust and sows the seeds of jealousy in him as he was envious of Otthello and Cassio and planned to kill both of them. This leads to murder of Desdemona and Cassio. However, Othello comes to know of the evil conspiracy of Iago. Othello killed himself whereas Iago was punished for his evil deeds.
