Step-by-step explanation:

Let the digit at unit's place be x and digit at ten's place be y,

Then, original number = 10x+y

Sum of digits = 7

❥ x+y = 7 ……(i)

Also, 10y+x = 4(10x+y)-3

❥ 10y+x = 40x +4y-3

❥ 39x-6y = 3

❥ 13x-2y = 1 ……(ii)

Multiplying equation (i) by ii, we get

❥ 2z + 2y = 14 …… (iii)

Adding equation (ii) and (iii),

❥ 15x = 15

❥ x = 1

❥ y = 6

Hence,the original number = 10x + y

= 10(1)+6

= 16
