Answer.        (D) 1.6 × 105 w

                    I = 103(w/m2)

                              power = intensity × area

                                        = 103 × 8 × 20

                                        = 160 × 103

                                        = 1.6 × 105 w

Answer:

The total power that is incident to the roof = 1.6*10^5 W

Explanation:

Power delivered per square meter by sun = Intensity,  I = 10^3 w/m^2

Total power incident, P = intensity × area

Area of the roof = 8m*20m=160m^2

Total power that is incident to the roof, P = I x Area

\implies P=10^3*160

\implies P=  1.6*10^5 W

Therefore, the total power that is incident to roof of dimensions 8m* 20 m = P=1.6*10^5 W
