Obviously the one who I can rely on in case of my difficulty and the one who has helped me to become important.
Being important is everyone’s goal, consciously or otherwise.
How to become one is now obvious; by helping others in their difficulties and helping others to become important.
On a second thought, those who depend on me are also important to me because they give me the feeling of being important. This can last only till I try to fulfill my obligations.
Thirdly, in my opinion, being important is very much different from being famous/infamous or popular or powerful etc.

Well to be an “important” member of society is to follow every single rule set by members of society, and to follow and uphold social norms. This means you become a slave of the system, but however the rest of the members of society see you as “popular” or “important”. But all of these titles are meaningless.
The worth part depends on your own ideals and lifestyle.
