the sun is so large then why there is darkness always in universe..

but whenever we see a photo of any planet even close to the sun ..the darkness is there.

Yes sun is so large as compared to earth that's why there is light on earth.
But the universe is so large that sun is not bigger than atom as compared to Universe.An atom can't light the whole world right.
