andx-y=16
so x+y+x-y=50+16
2x=66
x=33
so y=17
andx-y=16
so x+y+x-y=50+16

Given : x+y= 50 ...(i) and x-y=16....(ii) { x and y are the no.s }
AQ. adding (i) and (ii) equation then
⇒ x+y+x-y= 50+16
⇒ 2x = 66
⇒ x = 66/2
⇒ x = 33
put x = 33 in (i) in equation then,
⇒x+y= 50
⇒33+y = 50
⇒ y= 50 - 33
⇒ y = 17
∴The numbers are 33 and 17
