The sun rises two hours earlier in Arunachal Pradesh as compared to Gujarat in the west. But the clocks show same time. How does this happen????... please help..

The longitudinal gap between Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat is about 30°. Due to this, there is time lag of about two hours between these states. Since Arunachal Pradesh is in the east, the sun rises earlier here compared to Gujarat. The Indian Standard Time is taken from the time of Standard Meridian of India and hence, the watches show the same time in both the states.

this is due to india is having width from Arunachal Pradesh to Gujarat and for this hole country is facing problem in time difference so india has decided that to have a particular time for hole country . Due to this reason we have made a IST 83&1/2 degree latitude so we have same time for hole country
