The sun rises first in Arunachal Pradesh and rises last in Gujarat. It happens so because of the longitudinal extent about 30 degree between the eastern and western extemities. It causes the difference of two hours time in the sunrise in two places.     To remove the differences in timings of different areas in our country, time is decided on a central meridian in a country is 82 degree.30'E longitudeThis is the standard meridian. The time at 82 degree.32' E is taken as the Indian Standard Time.It is followed in the whole country.      And therefore the clocks show the same time.

This is because of different longitude and Same IST (Indian Standard Time).

-Arunachal Pradesh and Gujarat are located at a different longitudes. But, Both Longitudes have same Time.

As, Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh have different longitudes, So it is found that, the Sun rises earlier in Arunachal Pradesh as compared to Gujarat. We know that, The Time of each location in a specific country is same. Either it's Longitudes are different or any there is far distance between them. Therefore, Sunrises earlier in Arunachal Pradesh due to their different Longitudes.

-Gujarat lies between 68° E and 74° E longitude.

-Arunachal Pradesh is located between 91.20° E and 97.30° E longitude

-Arunachal Pradesh is located at Eastern part of India. It means that, there will be very Huge distance in time.

Reason for time difference:

1) India is located at 30° longitude. (Time will be same everywhere even there are different longitudes).

2) There is 30° longitudes between Arunachal pradesh and Gujarat.

3) 30°* 4 mins = 120 mins

4) 120 Mins is equal to 2 Hours.

Hence, There is a 2 hours time different between Gujarat and Arunachal Pradesh but watches shows same time.
