the sun rises two hours earlier in Arunachal Pradesh as compared to Gujarat in the West.but the clocks show the same time.how does this happen

Sakhigeeteshwari: there is a time lag of four minutes from one longitude to the other. in total there are 30 longitudes so the sun will rise two hours late In Gujarat (4*30=120)mins. or 2 hours. so to avoid this confusion all the residents of the country have set their watches according to the Italian (Indian standard time).

Actually what Arunachal is in East and Gujarat is in West so firstly it will be seen rising in the eastern side then on the western side.
