This is because there is nearly a thirty degree longitude difference between gujarat and anurachal pradesh.The time difference between each degree of longitude is 4 minutes and If we go eastward, the local time is advance by 4 minutes with each additional degree and vice versa. Therefore there is nearly a two hour time difference between gujarat and Arunachal pradesh.
