x+(x-20)=180

x +x= 180+20

2x=200

x=200/2

x=100

now, (x-20)=100-20=80.....

hope it helps..... ..

Answer:

Here's your answer

let supplementary angles be x

Sum of supplementary angles is 180

x+y= 180......i

According equation

x-y=20....... ii

By equation (I) and (ii)

Using elimination method

x+y=180

x-y=20

- + -

----------

2y= 160

y= 160/2= 80

So x will be

x-y= 20

x-80= 20

x=100

The angles are 100° and 20°

Hope it helps!!
