The supplement of a certain angle is 20 more than twice its complement .Find the measures of the angle its complement and its supplement

Let the angle be = x

Supplement = 180° - x

Complement = 90° - x

Supplement = 2Complement + 20°

=> 180° - x = 2 ( 90° - x ) + 20°

=> 180 - x = 180 - 2x + 20

=> x = 20°

Supplement = 180 - 20 = 160°

Complement = 90 - 20 = 70°
