The supplement of an angle is one third of itself. Find the angle and its supplement.

let the be x

therefore,its supplement is(180-x)

so,

(180 - x) =  \frac{1}{3}  \times x

3(180 - x) = x

540 - 3x = x

540 = 4x

x =  \frac{540}{4}

x=135

therefore ,it's supplement is (180-135)which is 45
