The supplementary angles are in ratio of 7:3

Let the numbers are 7x and 3x

7x + 3x = 180

10x = 180

x = 180/10 = 18

Angles = 18 × 7 = 126 , 18 × 3 = 54

The angles are 126 and 54 cm

The supplementary angles are in the ratio of 7 : 3

TO DETERMINE

The angles

EVALUATION

Here it is given that the supplementary angles are in the ratio of 7 : 3

Let first angle = 7x and second angle = 3x

Now two angles are said to be supplementary if sum of the angles = 180°

7x + 3x = 180°

⇒ 10x = 180°

⇒ x = 18°

First angle = 7x = 7 × 18° = 126°

Second angle = 3x = 3 × 18° = 54°

FINAL ANSWER

First angle = 126°

Second angle = 54°
