Answer:

Given,

Surface area of 1st brick = 50cm^2 = 0.005m^2

Surface area of 2nd brick = 200cm^2 = 0.02m^2

Each brick weights 50N

We know that P = F/A

Pressure for 1st brick,

= 50/0.005

= 1000pa.

Pressure for 2nd brick,

= 50/0.02

= 2500pa.

Each brick exerts 1000pa and 2500pa on the ground.
