The surface area of a cube is 24cm2. Two same cubes were joined end to end to form a cuboid. Find the surface of the cuboid formed.

Surface area of cuboid = Surface area of cube + surface are of cube.......(given)

Surface area of cuboid formed = 24+24 =48 cm²

As we know, the cube has 6 sides:

so 24/6=4, then every side is 4 cm2.

if we join 2 cubes, they will have 5 sides. So 4*5=20. And two cubes 20+20=40cm2
