the surface area of a cube is equal to the sum of the surface areas of three other cube whose edges are 3cm,4cm 12cm recpectively find the edge of the first cube

SA OF A CUBE= 6a2
so if we add
6(3^2+4^2+12^2)
6(9+16+144)
6*13^2
so side is 13 hope it helps.....

Surface area of cube = 6a*a
6(3*3+4*4+12*12)
6*169
