Let the radius of sphere be r. Given,
4\pi \times {r}^{2} = 1256 \\ {r}^{2} = 99.9 \: (approximately \: 100) \\ r = 10
Let the number of cones be n. Then,
 \frac{4}{3} \pi \times {(10)}^{3} = n \times \frac{1}{3} \pi \times {(2.5)}^{2} \times 8 \\ n = \frac{4 \times 10 \times 10 \times 10}{2.5 \times 2.5 \times 8} = 80
