Answer:

\boxed{ Radius = 5.25 cm}

\boxed{Volume \:of\: the \:sphere = 606.375 \:\:centimeter \:cube}

Step-by-step explanation:

GIVEN

Surface area of a sphere = 346.5 cm²

To Find

i) The radius of the Sphere

ii) Volume of the sphere

SOLUTION

i) Let the radius of the sphere be 'r' cm.

Surface Area of Sphere = 4πr²

Here, 4πr² = 346.5

4 × 22    × r² = 346.5

         7

4 × 22 × r² = 346.5 × 7

88  × r² = 2425.5

r² = 2425.5

             88

r² = 27.5625

r = \sqrt{27.5625}

r = 5.25 cm

ii) Volume of a sphere = 4/3 π r³

                                      = 4 × 22 × (5.25)³

                                           3×7

                                       =          88× 144.703125

                                                              21

                                    =               12733.875

                                                               21

                                     = 606.375 cm³
