the surface area of sphere is 2464 CM square it if its radius is doubled what will be the surface area of a sphere

Hey there,

surface area of sphere =4*pi*r^2---(1)
given surface area of sphere=2464----(2)
(1)=(2)
4*pi*r^2=2464
r^2= (2464*7)/(4*22)
after cancellation
r^2=(14)^2
r=14cm
volume =4/3*pi*r^3

=4/3*22/7*14*14*14
=34496/3
=11498.66 cm^3
