Ello There!

--------------------------

Given values

SA of Sphere = 616cm²

We know that,

Surface area of a sphere = 4πr²

Here the value given for Surface are of the sphere = 616

Therfore, we can substitute 4πr² in the equation below ↓↓

Surface area of a sphere = 616cm²

4πr² = 616 (Surface area of a sphere = 4πr²)

4 × \frac{22}{7} × r² = 616

4r² = 616 × 7 / 22

4r² = 4312/22 (616 × 7 = 4312)

4r² =  196 (4312 divided by 22 = 196)

r² = \frac{196}{4}

r² = 49

Square of r goes to the other side of the equal symbol,

r = √49

r = 7cm

∴ The radius of the sphere = 7cm
