Pressure = Force/Area

Base of the end of the brick 1 = 50 cm²

Base of the end of the brick 2 = 200 cm²

Weight of both the breaks = 50 N

[1 m² = 10000 cm²]

1:-

P = F/A ⟹ P = (50 kg m/s²)/(50 cm²)

⟹ P = (50 kg m/s²)/(50 ÷ 10000 m²)

⟹ P = 10000 N/m² = 10000 Pa

2:-

P = F/A ⟹ P = (50 kg m/s²)/(200 cm²)

⟹ P = (50 kg m/s²)/(200 ÷ 10000 m²)

⟹ P = 2500 N/m² = 2500 Pa
