I) Partition of bengal in 1905

ii) Drain of wealth in the form of de-industrialization of local industries and handicrafts and transportation of raw materials to England and import of finished goods from England

(B) Bal Gandadhar Tilak encouraged Swadeshi and Boycott movement after the British government decided the partition of Bengal.

(C) Bonfires were lit. All over India meetings were held . Boycott of British goods was widely promoted and this would also improve the revenue of the country
