The swadeshi movement was significant because almost all the people of india without differece in religion, caste,creed or gender..marched shoulder to shoulder and burnt British goods boycotted govt schools, colleges,jobs..etc..They set up national shops ;schools and colleges..It created a huge loss for the British..hope it helps..pls mark my ans as brainliest if u r satisfied with it...
