1) The highest market share in 2014 is that of HP. It has a market share of 34.25%. HP has maintained its number 1 position since 2006, as it had highest market share in 2006 and 2007 as well.

2) The second highest market share is that of Dell, with 26.12% of market share. Again, it was at number 2 position in 2006 and 2007 as well.

3) In most popular six brands, Fujitsu is least favorite with only 3.1% market share in 2014.

4) The sales of Fujitsu have effectively reduced since 2006. However, after a major fall in market share in 2007, it has improved in 2014.

5) The brand that has shown highest growth every consecutive year is Dell, which grew over 3.6% in 2007 as compared to previous year and 6.10% in 2014 as compared to 2007.

6) The share of others category brands have declined drastically in 2014.

7) The brands that fell in their market shares in 2007 and have improved their market shares are Samsung, Lenovo and Fujitsu.

8) A total of 6 brands dominate the market since 2006. They are HP, Samsung, Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo and Fujitsu.

HP has been leading the market with maximum share but growth of HP from 2006 to 2014 is only around 10 %. Growth from 2007 to 2014 is negligible.

Dell Has been consistently on 2nd position but growth has been quite good , there has been around 60 % growth from 2006 to 2014. Consistent higher growth percentage is very good sign for Dell. May be in next few years dell can become market leader,

Samsung has been also consistently on 3rd position with a growth of around 25% from 2006 to 2014. But Samsung has seen a dip in its share in 2007.

Toshiba also been consistent with around 30 % growth from 2006 to 2014.

Lenovo has seen a dip in its share in 2007.

Fujistu has not been able to keep its market share and has declined its share.

HP & Dell together have moved to a more than 50% market share and leading the market.
