The table shows the ratio between the number of books ordered and their cost:

Number of Books

Cost (dollars)

7 21

8 24

9 27

Find equivalent ratios when the number of books ordered is 1, 2, and 3. Write them as ordered pairs in the form (x-coordinate, y-coordinate). Starting from the origin, explain how to plot the three equivalent ratios on a coordinate grid. (10 points)

pls help id very appreciate it..

Here you go:

7 books cost $21 and so on. So we have the points,

7,21

8,24

9,27

on a line.

It can be seen that the eq formed is y=3x( y is cost and x is number of books).

When x is 1, ratio= 1:3 1,3

When x is 2, ratio= 2:6 2,6

Wgen x is 3, ratio= 3:9 3,9

Since they are equivalent ratios, they lie on the same line y=3x.
